Movies
While Bostonist certainly understands what Body Heat, the steamy film noir starring Kathleen Turner and William Hurt, has to do with sex, we're not sure what it has to do with science. But Coolidge Corner Theater will screen the movie as part of its "Science on Screen" series, and BU professor Michael Baum will discuss "the science of attraction." You may not be convinced, but any savvy moviegoer should welcome an excuse to see Body Heat on the big screen. 7:00 pm, $9.75.

--If you'd like your romantic offering somewhat less noir, the Brattle Theatre's Great Romances series continues tonight with "Better Off Dead." Bostonist just can't get enough of hamburgers dancing to Van Halen and Curtis Armstrong advising John Cusack on how to ski: "Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn." It's a romance--we swear! Check all times at the Brattle Theatre, and get date-movie tips from Bostonist.
