--MBTA General Manager Dan Grabauskas has received plenty of angry e-mails in his time, and should be able to take some serious heat. But he is furious about an e-mail from a Department of Corrections employee that got way too personal. Grabauskas is gay, and the e-mailer used anti-gay slurs about Grabauskas when describing MBTA service. Now Grabauskas is upset with Deval Patrick and his administration for not doing something about it sooner. The employee has been suspended. [Boston Herald]
--Jess Cain, retired Boston radio personality who composed "The Yaz Song," died this morning. [Boston Globe]
--Joseph Nee, who was in trial for involvement with a Columbine-style plot to kill students at Marshfield High School in 2004, was found guilty today of conspiracy to commit murder. [Boston Globe]
--Former Massachusetts governor and former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has decided to back John McCain. [Washington Post]
--The Citi Performing Arts Center is returning some of the Shakespeare on the Common performances that it cut last year. Residents will get to choose from 15 free performances of "As You Like It. [Boston Globe]
--Will Ferrell's mug is in beer ads, on the web, and plastered all over the local bus stops. But he showed up in person at Boston College. Alas, it appears he didn't bring his Semi-Pro afro with him. [BC Heights]
