If you are an old white guy planning a leisurely European tour or happen to know an old white guy considering such a trip, watch out for overeager foreign policemen, even if you wear a Yankees cap. --A jury convicted Oscar Rosa for stabbing doorman Craig Viera outside The Embassy Club on Lansdowne in November 2006. He was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years. [DA's Office]

--The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) has some questions for Beth Israel Deaconess: "The union wants Beth Israel Deaconess to restate its 2005 and 2006 financial reports to exclude bad debts from its calculation of the amount it spent on charity care." [New York Times]
