Boston Blotter: Pizza Perps

crime_scene_tape.jpg--Some none-too-bright teens robbed a pizza delivery guy of his pie yesterday in Dorchester. After scoring their pizza, they took off, and the BPD had the easiest time ever finding them. For starters, they left footprints in the snow, and they dropped pizza crusts in their building. [BPD News]

--A heroic mother in Dorchester contacted police after suspecting her 15-year-old was hiding a loaded weapon in her home. Police searching the home came up with pellet guns, but, during a pat frisk, they found a weapon on the allegedly dangerous and allegedly disrespectful teen. According to the BPD Blotter, "The suspect’s mother indicated to officers that she feared for her safety and that of her six year-old daughter and did not wish for her son to return home." [BPD News]

--Despite the weather, the BPD had a busy night. Early this morning, a 17-year-old underage driver allegedly struck a pedestrian on Comm Ave. The pedestrian suffered injuries so serious that she is in critical condition, and the driver failed sobriety tests. [BPD News]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
