Boston Blotter: Party Gone Wild
--Violent revelers turned a party for "Girls Gone Wild" at Aria on Tremont Street into a full-on fracas early this morning: "Two people were shot, a state trooper broke his arm and a Boston police officer was in a cruiser crash." A brawl involving 20 to 35 people swinging champagne bottles broke out, and then one armed man started firing into the crowd. [Boston Herald, BPD News]
--Police are looking for a former student at Northeastern University who has been missing since the day after the Super Bowl. Nicholas Sova, 22, was last seen by his roommates at his apartment in Mission Hill. His bank account was overdrawn. We've included a picture. He is 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. --Yesterday afternoon in Roxbury, the BPD swiftly located an armed-robbery suspect after a victim identified the perp. The suspect allegedly had "16 individually wrapped packets of crack cocaine" in his socks. At least the crack wasn't in his other crack. Also on the blotter, the BPD "Operation Squeezed" five possible johns, including a 64-year-old. [BPD News]
