Poll: Making Cambridge Street More Like Charles Street?

City Councilor Michael Ross has a new project--the beautification of Beacon Hill.

But, wait, you ask, isn't Beacon Hill pretty already? Sure. But Ross is underwhelmed by Cambridge Street and wants to "extend the Beacon Hill Architectural District" to include the street, the Herald reports.

Offensive eyesores on Cambridge Street include a sign for Subway sandwiches and ATM machines that don't look like the World's Fanciest 7-11, which you can find on Charles Street.

We're curious about what you think of this development:

Being a constituent of Ross', this irritates me to no end.

I could come up with a top ten things he could do well before worrying about 7-11 signage.

I haven't had my coffee yet though.

I wonder why we don't see such initiative in Chinatown, Dorchester or Roxbury...hmm

i love that 7-11. it smells kind of weird though.
