I lived in L.A. for 18 years. I only just moved to Boston at the end of last summer, and I even had my bon voyage brunch at Madeleine Bistro. I love that place, and Dave and Molly. I can't wait until we have a place like that here in Beantown. Though, I guess I already mentioned that. :D

There is a wonderful gourmet vegan restaurant in the LA area. I don't get over there much because it's not close to me but when I do I am blown away. It's called Madeleine Bistro 18621 Ventura Blvd. Tarzana, CA 91356 (818) 758-6971 It's my favorite vegan restaurant.

Oooh, scooped! I did not know that about petit robert bistro. I look forward to meeting everyone who attends the Upstairs on the Square event. I'm encouraged by the interest local gourmet chefs have in trying their hand at gourmet food. One day I look forward to Boston having a restaurant on the level of Candle 79, Madeleine Bistro or Millennium. In the meantime, the things I'm hearing about Grezzo are very encouraging!
