Boston Blotter: Mass Arrest for May Murder

--In a follow-up to the case in which a man stabbed his ex to death, stabbed another woman 8 times, bit a man, and then stabbed himself to death in New Bedford, Jane Doe Inc. notes that the incident marks the sixth domestic violence homicide in Massachusetts this year. Tenants told the Herald that the ex had shown up at the victim's apartment two weeks ago, and she had called police. [Boston Globe, Boston Herald]

--A perp engaged in premature celebration at a strip joint after allegedly robbing a bank in Quincy. Saturday afternoon, a police officer arrested a man outside the Squire Lounge in Revere on Saturday afternoon. The man fitted the description of the individual who held up a Bank of America on Saturday morning. Those ill-gotten gains may have been tucked right under a thong strap. [Patriot Ledger]

--Early Saturday morning, the BPD told a guy to shut down a rowdy party on Shannon Street in Brighton. The guy responded with "Yeah ... whatever." The police responded with an arrest.
