Monday Happenings
Dance Party
JD Samson and Johanna Fateman, of the terribly missed Le Tigre, are now working it as a DJ duo known MEN. The new stuff definitely riffs off the best of Le Tigre, which still owns the award for best prom photo/album cover ever. Great Scott, 1222 Comm Ave, $12, 9:00 pm.
Movies
When we started writing about this happening, we swore we wouldn't do this, but "ARE YOU TALKIN' TO ME?" Taxi Driver, that legendary encapsulation of '70s malaise, will be on the big screen at Coolidge Corner at 7:00 pm.
--Author Felicia C. Sullivan spent her childhood in a role reversal, taking care of her own drug-addicted mother. She writes about escaping her upbringing only to almost slip into her own addiction in The Sky Isn't Visible from Here. Harvard Book Store, 7:00 pm.
--Lionel Shriver will discuss The Post-Birthday World, a book in which a woman's decision whether or not to sneaky-kiss someone she probably shouldn't creates two different plotlines. Call it Choose Your Own Adventure, for Adults. Brookline Booksmith, 7:00 pm.

Thanks! I'm so excited to be in Cambridge.
Cheers, Felicia
