-- The founder and creative director of Inca Son, an internationally known Andean pop group based in Cambridge faces charges that he sexually assaulted a Shrewsbury teenager in her home last December. Cesar Villalobos, 47 of Cambridge, has performed with the Boston Pops, at the 2002 Winter Olympics and the 1994 World Cup. He has also been arrested in the past on charges of child pornography. He is alleged to have lured a girl, aged between 14 and 16, to an upstairs computer room after dining with her family. There, he allegedly kissed her, fondled her, and forced her to squeeze his penis. He was arraigned January 28 on charges of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 and over. -- A Framingham man was arrested Sunday on charges that he attacked his mother and brothers with a knife. Police say the 30 year-old alleged assailant went after his family with a six inch switchblade when they confronted him about his moodiness. No injuries were reported, but the man's mother found herself in the hospital after the incident with difficulties breathing. [MetroWest Daily]

-- Police arrested a North Andover High School student yesterday on charges that she left a bomb threat on the wall of the girls' restroom. The note read "We boming (sic) North Andover High! We’re killing everyone 3/20/08 be ready." The 16 year-old student became a suspect based on video and handwriting evidence. She is charged with threatening to commit a crime and disruption of an academic setting. [Globe]
