Uh-Oh. Adrian Walker Arraigned for OUI

030408-adrian-walker.JPGThe Globe is blushing right now. Columnist Adrian Walker, most frequently seen getting Universal Hub's dander up, was arrested early Sunday on an OUI.

Making matters worse for the Globe, he was driving a company car when Transit Police in Dorchester arrested him for speeding. He told officers that he had been at Silvertone earlier.

He has pled not guilty. But the word is out. The Globe mentioned the incident in "New England in Brief." The Herald was also all over it. Jessica Van Sack was restrained in the write-up, but she quoted more of the police report than the Herald did. The report said that Walker "stumbled and fell to the ground" while on his way to booking.

Whatever happened, one thing's for sure. We can't wait to read Walker's next column.

All charges alleged until proven under law.
