The Athol of the Universe

Comcast SportsNet ran an ad that says, "We can pronounce Worcester ... without sounding like an Athol."

Beavis, meet Butthead. As if residents of Athol haven't heard that gag before. They're still not amused by it. In fact, the AP says they're pissed off, and now Comcast SportsNet isn't running the ad anymore. (If you haven't had your coffee yet, just say it a few times, but don't do it around your boss, okay?)

Oh, and if you saw the ad, the citizens of Athol would like to remind you that "The correct pronunciation is "ATH'-awl."
