Boston vs. The Bronx
Baseball season hasn't quite arrived, but you should bet dollars to Dunkies that someone will yell "Yankees suck!" tonight when the Derby Dames' Boston Massacre takes on the Gotham Girls' Bronx Gridlock. The Massacre also skates against the Maine Port Authorities in a mini-bout. Carpool to Wilmington. Derby Dames, Shriner's Auditorium, 99 Fordham Road, Wilmington, 5:00pm. $14/$16.

Zebbler's Party
Peter Berdovsky, he of the dreadlocks and L'Affaire Aqua Teen, is hosting "Come Home," an event jam-packed with A/V extravaganzas, music, and a Guitar Hero show on both floors of the Good Life Bar. No, he's not raising money for bail--the money is going to help his mother relocate from Belarus to the more politically friendly nation of Poland. Good Life Bar, 9:00 pm to 2:00 am, $10 donation.

Venezuelan Funk
Los Amigos Invisibles have been making rumps shake since 1995. Stars on the world music scene since their 2004 album The Venezuelan Zinga Son, Vol. 1 was nominated for a Grammy, the Amigos are nonetheless one of those bands that must be experienced live. Tonight they are joined by NYC fusion outfit Pacha Massive. Paradise Rock Club, 967 Comm. Ave., 8:00pm. $15.

Comedy
Although MAD TV sometimes seems like a Grade-B Saturday Night Live, it's really had moments that rivaled that of any SNL skit, and former cast member Aries Spears was a huge part of it. Comedy Connection, 8:00 pm and 10:15 pm, $25.

--Boston News Net, a new comedy show spoofing Boston news, will premiere tonight at Improv Boston at its new Central Square location. Even if you can't make it, you can still catch the show at the Boston News Net website. Improv Boston, Cambridge (that does sound funny), 9:30 pm.
