-- A North Cambridge man who was found shot in front of his house early on Tuesday may face his own set of charges. Police say they found "a large amount" of marijuana and a sawed-off shotgun in the man's home. Nobody has been charged in connection with his shooting and the victim/suspect remains in stable condition at Cambridge Hospital. [Cambridge Chronicle]
-- The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine suspended the license of a Winchester Hospital obstetrician yesterday. The Board called Suzanne B. Rothchild, 59, an "immediate and serious threat to public health," based on an unusually high number of malpractice allegations, suits, and settlements. Rothchild does not face criminal charges but has been dropped from her malpractice insurance. The Board has disciplined her before, in 2006. She and her attorney deny the Board's allegations. [Globe]
-- If you live in New Bedford, tip your delivery drivers something extra this week. Chances are they have been robbed. New Bedford police are warning food delivery drivers to be cautious after 8 pizza and Chinese food drivers were robbed at knife point over the past month. Last Monday, one such robbery was thwarted when the would-be victim fought off his attackers with his own knife. [WBZ TV]
