Boston Blotter: Missing Person Alert

--A follow-up to the scary machete attack near City Hall. BPD police commissioner Ed Davis says the alleged machete-wielding perps "are wannabes who call themselves MS-13 but are not connected to the bloodthirsty enterprise that has been the subject of an FBI probe." No response yet from MS-13's PR team on the subject. [Boston Herald]

--Police arrested a man who had been holding up pharmacies in Brookline, Malden, and Newton. However, other suspects in the robberies are still at large. [WBZ]

--A teenager in Marshfield was arrested after someone in California FedExed her 20 pounds of pot. She told police she was going to get $200 receiving the package, but the pot was worth $50,000. If that's true, she was ripped off. [WBZ]

--No one really knows what led to the shocking case of a family that was living in abominable conditions in a Hyde Park home. Five children were found on Thursday night "two of them nearly naked, with feces on them." DSS now has custody of the kids. [Boston Globe]
