--The Dropkick Murphys. St. Patrick's Day. Insanity. Seriously. They'll be doing two shows at Tsongas Arena in Lowell. The first is at 2:00 and the second is at 8:00. Ted Leo & the Pharmacists open the second show. Yes, it is sold out, but surely parties will break out in the parking lot. The MBTA even announced extra shuttle service: "The LRTA (Lowell Regional Transit Authority) will operate free shuttle bus service all day between the train station and the arena to accommodate customers. The extra train is to depart Lowell at 11:15 PM, making all local stops on its way to Boston." The band even offers a schedule to help their fans get their via public transportation.

Music That Isn't the Dropkick Murphys
--French electronic act Justice is driving everyone so gaga that if you don't have tickets, don't expect to get into this show, either. The Paradise, 9:00 pm.

--The Mountain Goats, whose record Heretic Pride name-checks Marcus Allen and Lovecraft in the same song, continue their two-night stand, moving to the Middle East Downstairs. It's sold out, too, so do what you must. Expect a review of the show from Bostonist.

Fashion
But will you get pinched if you don't wear green? Bostonist Fashion has been eyeing the St. Patrick’s Day Second Annual Rockin’ Runway Fashion Show at Felt, 10:00 pm.

Free Cab Rides!
Bostonist recommends Cambridge as the place to get your St. Patrick's Day revelry on. Beantown Bloggery notes that the city is giving away free cab rides between 7:00 pm and 4:00 am. Before you go out, program 617-864-5000 into your cell phone, and give them a call. Try not to puke in anyone's cab.
