The Earth Hour concept was created by the World Wildlife Fund, and last year 2.2 million people and 2100 businesses in Sydney turned off their lights; sending the message that each one of us can make an impact. We did IT!!! turned off the lights that is - not only that I threw the breakers for the whole apartment (my poor roomates love me so much!), so no electricity at all - fridge, DVD player, clock radio, all dead from 8-9, actually since I didn't know what time it was we were actually dark from 8-9:32
