Veggiest Encourages You to Pull the Plug

Join the millions around the world who have pledged to go "one hour - no power" on March 29, 2008 in order to raise awareness for climate change. The Earth Hour concept was created by the World Wildlife Fund, and last year 2.2 million people and 2100 businesses in Sydney turned off their lights; sending the message that each one of us can make an impact. Check out the video to learn more about how the concept began:
While Boston isn't an official host city, consider going dark from 8 - 9 pm tomorrow night to take part in this important event. And hey, we can think of some ideas to keep you busy in the dark, if you need any suggestions...

We did IT!!! turned off the lights that is - not only that I threw the breakers for the whole apartment (my poor roomates love me so much!), so no electricity at all - fridge, DVD player, clock radio, all dead from 8-9, actually since I didn't know what time it was we were actually dark from 8-9:32
