Cheap & chic retailer H&M unveils its latest collaboration with a master of high-fashion on April 10. This summer's collection was designed by Finnish print masters Marimekko. New York Magazine has a preview of the collection, and unlike the Necco-wafer-ish pastels that currently dominate spring fashion, the prints' colors are bright and bold enough to substitute for the sun during Boston's dreary April. Bostonist especially likes the retro bathing suits and flowy dresses.
Prices range from $19 to $49, and past collaborations with designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney have sold out with lightning speed. So if you see something you love, locate your nearest H&M and take a long lunch on Thursday.
