Drinks Are On Us: Brew The Perfect Press Pot Every Time

French pressThe French press, or press pot, is a simple gadget yet many of us haven't mastered it yet. Here are a few simple steps to ensure you brew the perfect cup:

1. Start with two tablespoons of coffee for six ounces of water.
2. Boil the water then let it cool for almost a minute.
3. Pour a little water over the grounds to get a fragrant bloom going.
4. Fill the French press about halfway up for about a minute, making sure all grounds are full submerged.
5. After that minute, fill the rest of the way with water.
6. Lightly press the grounds.
7. Let it steep for about three minutes.
8. Press the plunger and enjoy!
