I'm sorry -- this whole contest is so dumb, along with those idiotic "Best of"/ "Worst of" lists you see on the cover of magazines every month. It's just soooo lazy. Is this the only way Toucher and Rich can increase their audience? Yikes.

I think more than just a comment, you should respectfully correct your writing that Wanda Sykes was on the list of unfunny comics. You can of course have your opinion about her style of stand up but to not withdraw her name from your post or not noting the correction is quite disrespectful. Not only was she NOT included on the list she most certainly does NOT belong on that list. She's a 4-time Emmy winning (plus more nominations) comedy writer that has earned the respect. How many others on or off the list, have achieved that? Dane Cook on the other hand....is hands down the most UN-Funny individual of all time.

Wanda Sykes gets a pass because her early stuff was so, so funny. And her "Crank Yankers" bit about discovering a TURD. IN. HER. CAR. was a riot. I don't think either Cook or Fallon have ever achieved that kind of peak.

MJG, I would like a chance to explain. Leno, still does comedy and at one point, he was a good comedian. But now his work is bland and boring. I had to see him once and I had heard he was great and it was just a gigantic disapointment. Jimmy Fallon or Dane Cook? They're essentially the same, forgettable performer. But, I'll need someone to explain to me how Jay Leno or, even worse, Robin Williams even get considered to be on this list.

I completely agree that Dane Cook is not funny! (I would vote for him to win) I haven't seen a lot of his stuff, but I did just see him in Dan in Real Life. I was trying to figure out what it is about him that irks me so much, and I've decided its that his overall tone/attitude is that he thinks he is God's gift to mankind - it comes through in all his deliveries. Give it a break, Dane! Why do you have so many fans?
