--The State House was evacuated earlier because of a false alarm resulting from a light bulb that burst. [WBZ]

--Manholes are back, and they thirst for revenge. A manhole explosion downtown sent two NSTAR employees to the hospital overnight. One worker was treated and released, and the other was held for observation. [WCVB, Boston Herald]
