Boston Blotter: Donut Rage Grips Dorchester

-- A confrontation at a Dorchester Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru turned absurd yesterday when a woman was dragged from her car and beaten, according to police. The victim had sounded a warning honk as the suspect attempted a drive-thru maneuver, authorities say, and the act had thrown the suspect into a rage. Along with an 30 year old male accomplice, the 27-year-old Dorchester woman allegedly blocked the victim in the drive-thru line, pulled her from her car, and slammed her head into the pavement. -- In Roxbury, a food delivery driver allegedly undertook a retaliatory robbery, sticking up a victim for $160. The victim waited until the 23-year-old suspect from Everett returned from his delivery run and called the police. The suspect claimed that the victim had robbed him of $200 in the past, leaving a balance of $40. [BPDNews]

-- A man was shot to death yesterday afternoon in Dorchester. Police have not released the name of the victim or any descriptions of suspects. [BPDNews; WBZTV]

-- A mobster agreed to plead guilty to charges that he whacked a Springfield small fry in 2003. Frankie A. Roche, 35 of Westfield, allegedly murdered Adolfo Bruno, the alleged head of the Springfield mob, in exchange for $10,000.
