Local band Parker House and Theory (PHT) are coming out with a new album, Automatic Stranger, today. The band will celebrate the release with a show at the Middle East downstairs (MED), sponsored by that lovable college radio station WERS (um... WERS). With a band member named Eric-Jon (hyphenated names FTW) and connections to Emerson College (EC), you know PHT is a little bit out there. Still, despite having a somewhat incomprehensible name, Parker House and Theory plays relatively accessible, polished pop-rock. The band won a 2006 Boston Music Award (BMA) for Best Live Band (BLB), so tonight's experience promises to be pleasurable. Buy your tickets and join the PHamily ASAP.
