Boston Blotter: 13 Year Old Shot in South End; Knives Come Out in Greater Boston
-- A 13 year old boy was shot in the South End early this morning. Police found the boy on Washington Street shortly after 1am, suffering from two gunshot wounds to the groin. He was hospitalized and is expected to survive. His identity was not released, and police have not reported any arrests. [Globe; WCVB]
-- A 35 year old man was found stabbed to death in Worcester this morning. Police believe that drugs were a motive in the killing. [Globe; MetroWest Daily News]
-- Two men were arrested after allegedly stabbing a third man Saturday night at People's Republik, the Central Square hangout. Zakaria Jama, 19, of Boston, and Ali Hassen Ali, 21 of Roxbury face charges of assault by means of a dangerous weapon. The victim suffered only superficial wounds. [Globe]
-- An alleged groper was collared by MBTA police yesterday, after a woman complained to officials, an act which the Herald summarizes as follows: "'He grabbed my ***,' the woman shouted, as T officers have urged anyone to do if threatened." -- Police have released more details about Wednesday's shooting in Dorchester. The victim, who was found shot multiple times, has since died. Police identified him as Bernard White, 38, of Dorchester. No suspects have been caught. BPDNews]
