Beauty and the Geek: When we first saw Jim from Bedford, he reminded us of a Furby because of his beard. And we demanded that he get a makeover because we wanted to see what was beneath the hair.
Well, the CW granted Jim his--and our--wish about getting a makeover. Even though Jim and his partner, Tiffany, were booted before the makeover episode, the CW knew they had a good thing when they saw it, and they gave Jim a special makeover for this season's recap show.
And what a makeover it was. After a few jitters, the barbershop shaved off every last bit of Jim's beard and gave him a decent faux-hawk. When he walked out after his makeover, he looked hot. A good-looking guy was hiding under that beard and pocket protector. Jim said that the hairstylist told him he resembled the actor Ryan Gosling, and the comparison wasn't too far off.
As for the rest of the episode, it was a clip reel that confirmed what a little bird told us--Sweater Vest Tommy had some special alone time with a beauty in one of the closets in the mansion.

America's Next Top Model: Last week, Fatima was the source of the drama as she had to pick up some travel documents, which meant she missed the photo shoot. The judges kept her, anyway, so she had to prove that it was all worth it. However, Fatima started off the episode as a bad-luck magnet. She earned her trip to Italy, but she was sick and slept. When she arrived at a shoot for a Cover Girl product that would be in Italian, it seemed sure that she would either a) hack up a lung b) start crying, which she does often, c) mouth off and tear out someone else's weave, or d) forget to shave her armpits again.
The answer was none of the above. She rocked the commercial, pronouncing the Italian decently, at least compared to the others. Maybe Fatima should get sick more often. She was the first name Tyra called, so she proved that she's worth keeping around for another week.
A Shot of Love II With Tila Tequila: A Shot of Love With Tila Tequila is a lot like Flavor of Love and Rock of Love, as it appears to be filmed in the same mansion. Only there's more bisexuality, cage dancing matches, and even more drinking, if that's possible. At least these people seem to be having more fun than anyone in the Big Brother house.
Boston Michelle, the boxer, showed off boxing as her sexy talent to Ms. Tequila, who prances around in gold hot pants. While boxing isn't sexy, and Tequila asked Boston Michelle if she was a "murderer," Michelle gets to stay for another round. The next few episodes should be entertaining since Tila is tough. She informed two women who disrespected her by making out behind her back, "Give me back my key, and get the f*&k out of my house." If she said that to Boston Michelle, she better prepare for a rumble. And the same goes for the pugnacious men in the house.
