Mel Gibson to Shoot Film in Boston

Edge of Darkness
Popcritics, Cinematical, and other sources report that Mel Gibson, # 1 expert on what women want, will be packing on some lethal weapons (more likely guns than Braveheart-esque swords) this summer to play a police officer in the upcoming Edge of Darkness. Directed by Martin Campbell, who also did Casino Royale and GoldenEye, the film is an adaptation of a BBC miniseries from 1985, hearkening back to the days of Mad Max. Shooting on Edge of Darkness is expected to start in Boston in August, so keep your eyes peeled for swervey driving and your ears peeled for antisemitic rants.
