--Boston is a city that plays fast and loose with traffic laws, but the city needs money, so that's about to stop. The City Council is considering increasing fines for jaywalking and actually enforcing the rules. [WCVB]

--Since skycaps won a lawsuit against American Airlines over a $2 bag handling charge that reduced skycaps' tips, American has announced that passengers shouldn't tip the skycaps anymore. Their wages will go up from $12 to $15 an hour. [WBZ]
