Kaiju Big Battel describes itself as the world's only "live, monster fighting spectacle," and you will be hard pressed to find another outfit where a bunch of monsters gather in a ring to Mexican wrestle each other. It's a Boston tradition: the first Battel took place eleven years ago at the SMFA. Today, it's a touring group, doing shows up and down the east coast, with a substantial merchandising machine. They will be returning to town this Saturday for a spectacle that can only be called "The New and Improved Boston Massacre."

Bostonist had the opportunity to speak with Louden Noxious, the live play-by-play announcer for Kaiju Big Battel.
