Bostonist Fashion: Just because you can – doesn’t mean you should.

heidi.JPGYet another “celebrity” has announced that he's releasing a clothing line. Perez Hilton recently announced he will be throwing his hat into the ring of celebrity fashion. America’s favorite blogger’s line will be sold exclusively at Hot Topic. No word if sister store, Torrid, will be carrying the line in plus sizes. The designs, much like Perez, are as expected. They're brash, bright, bawdy and have that techno/fluorescent color vibe that some might say screams Heatherette meets early Gwen Stefani (More proof that “Return to Saturn” was No Doubt's best record?). The self proclaimed Queen of All Media will be selling everything from lip gloss to hoodies, and prices will range from $1.75 to $46. Look for his line to hit stores on June 6th.

Lindsay Lohan is releasing a line of leggings. Why? Seriously, they’re not a good look unless you have toothpicks for legs. Even so, do you really want to look like you’re one step away from the gym or having a very uncomfortable wedgies constantly? Perhaps it was a decision made after a night of too many at Goa before her stint at rehab? But then again, it can’t be any worse than Heidi Montag’s stripper in training collection, released through Anchor Blue. At least Lindsay is now making her mistakes in the world of fashion instead of behind the wheel of a car.
