Re MIT:
Back in the day, instead of whining about a half hour "on hold", the writer for The Tech would have figured out a way to break through to the allegedly offending party. (E.g., the MIT student in the late 80's who figured out how to defeat the Denver Boot. He wisely opted for other entrepreneurial pursuits when apprised of the upshot in the community). Star Simpson should have been forced to endure watching hours of Star Jones on TV. Let the punishment fit the crime, (self-absorption).
