Boston Blotter: Deaths in Norwood, Roxbury
--A man was arrested for allegedly beating another man to death early Saturday at a house party in Norwood. The fatal brawl broke out in the home of the alleged attacker's mother. The mother hosted the party and allegedly tried to kick out the son "over damage to the interior of her home." [Boston Globe, WBZ]
--A 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Roxbury last night. [WBZ]
--The Westin had an unusually difficult guest on its hands last night. They were patient with him after they claimed to see a guy "sitting in a chair in the lobby with his hands down his pants." Apparently he was quite happy with that position, but no one else was amused. The patron's bag of vodka bottles wasn't amusing, either. They told him to leave, and the BPD told him to leave, and then they had to take him downtown. [BPD News]
--A teenager from Dorchester didn't realize that he probably shouldn't have returned to the Walgreens for the backpack he left behind after a shoplifting expedition. [BPD News]
All charges alleged until proven under law.
