Ted's OK; Just Needs to Avoid Celtics Game
After a scare that involved a helicopter trip to Mass General, doctors say Senator Ted Kennedy will be all right after having a seizure yesterday morning. Reports indicate that Kennedy is just fine and was watching some of the Red Sox game.
If he is still in the hospital this afternoon, the doctors should swiftly wheel the television out of his room, lest he stumble across the Celtics-Cavs Game 7 and get really riled up. You think he almost popped a cork over minimum wage? Wait until he gets a load of how Ray Allen's been playing.
Stories about Kennedy's health began to resemble a game of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. CNN tried to figure out how Kennedy's health would affect the Barack Obama presidential campaign since Kennedy endorsed Obama, John Kerry got a statement out there, and reporters even got Tom Brady's thoughts on the matter. Brady was exceedingly polite and called Kennedy a "great American citizen," but what is he supposed to say? He's not an expert on politics. He should be asked solely about football and panty models.
