also - as Red Sox Nation kept it quiet watching what Lester was doing...not jinxing anything by mentioning a no-no stupid redsox.com proclaimed "Lester pitching a no-hitter through the sixth." Seriously? Don't they know that is bad luck? Luckily it wasn't that bad!
Also, there was a guy two rows behind us who called someone on his cell phone in about the seventh and said, "Hey turn on the TV - Lester's throwing a no-hitter!" WTF?!??! Were you born on this planet?
Also, props to the people (and there were quite a few) who left after "Sweet Caroline". Great fans.
What a great game. This video is excellent too - it really captures the energy in the crowd. Outstanding!
