Boston Blotter: Killing on Mission Hill; Cheeseman to Get Bail
-- More details have emerged in today's apparent murder on Mission Hill. The victim, who has not been identified by police, is a woman in her 20s, and some officials say that she was shot to death. Her body was discovered this morning around 7:00am. The Globe reports that neighbors in the Parker Hill Apartments building heard gunshots early this morning, but no official word on the cause of death has been issued. Homicide investigators have cordoned off the apartment complex where, earlier today, they towed a blue Mini Cooper with 2007 Northeastern parking tags. Authorities have made no connection between the vehicle and the killing. [Globe]

Although DiNunzio, 50, is rumored to be a Mafia underboss, U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Judith G. Dein ruled that "the government has not met its burden of proving by clear and convincing evidence either that there is a serious risk that the defendant will obstruct or attempt to obstruct justice."
