--A doctor and a nurse at Gloucester High School would like to give contraceptives confidentially to students, but Addison Gilbert Hospital refused, so the doctor and the nurse have quit in protest. They should do something, as the high school has had 17 teen pregnancies this year. [Boston Herald, WBZ]
--Former Red Sox pitcher Geremi Gonzalez, who pitched for many, many MLB teams and was recently pitching in Japan, was struck by a bolt of lightning in Venezuela and died over the weekend. [WBZ]
--Ted Kennedy Jr. is saying that he expects his dad to return to the Senate. As if he would do anything else. [Boston Herald]

--While it's nice to have all this glamorous film production, it turns out that the state issued "issued more than $2.1 million of tax credits for 37 ad-related productions." So, is anyone out there actually getting jobs related to these commercials? [Boston Globe]
