<description>&lt;p&gt;   the test only will check track,signals,sun glare, or any other conditions that would have interfered with the operator...


    based on the comments so far the operator made no attempt to stop...or did the vehicle fail to respond to her braking ....?


   it will take some time to test and determine if the vehicle involved had controlling hardware or software that is defective...



    because the operator has less than 1 year on the job it may well be operator error....


    this was the most severe accident on this line and only the operator was killed...if this were a bus or automobile many would be killed..


   most will continue to use the T as it has a very good safety record..&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;How do you re-create the event without including the crash part?  

Via this logic, we&apos;re going to get a report from the MBTA that the trains didn&apos;t actually collide, and everyone was okay.

(For the record, I&apos;m not suggesting that they should actually re-create the crash part, I&apos;m just trying to figure out the logistics/purpose)&lt;/p&gt;</description>
