- Torontoist featured the astonishing story (and equally astonishing photos) of more than 200 cyclists spontaneously taking over the westbound lanes of the city's downtown expressway for 7 kilometers late on a Friday afternoon.
- Phillyist got to chat with singer/songwriter and internet phenomenon Eric Hutchinson as his major-label debut hit stores.

Critical Mass is the best.
I'm a biker, but also drive occasionally. Although I'm into being part of random activities that are out of the ordinary in order to get non-participants laughing, I think this took the whole idea a bit too far.
Think of it this way: what would you have been thinking/feeling if you were in a car behind this group, and late for a meeting/appointment?
This appeared to be an effort at solidarity among bikers, but what I can only imagine it grew the rift between them and automobiles even more. Which is not really what we need.
