--Never underestimate the power of a good story. The Globe's piece on the short, tragic lives of Sophia and Acia Johnson has lit a fire under DSS' collective ass. Now they will be cross-checking data and making sure children in their care are living with the proper guardians. [Boston Globe]

--The best job in town is apparently one with Boston's Department of Public Works. How can we get one of those? They get HBO! [Boston Herald]

--Further proof that it will be tough to find jurors for the trial of Neil Entwistle. One potential juror got tossed for saying of Entiwistle, "Fry him and send him away." [Boston Herald]

--Notes to parents grumping about the "late" start time of the Celtics game: a) 9:00 pm isn't late, b) it starts at 6:00 on the West Coast, which sucks for them too and c) If you don't let your kid stay up late, they will never forgive you. How long has it been since the Celtics have made it this far? Exactly. [Boston Herald]

--A Wellfleet lighthouse has been found in California. But how does one lose a lighthouse? [AP/Boston Globe]

--The Tweeter Center is now the Comcast Center, further proving the theory that all these places should just be named Corporate Buyout Center or Corporate Merger Park. [WCVB]

I love that one of the rationales for the 9PM start time is so West Coasters can see the beginning. I thought the whole point of being in LA was to show up late to ballgames.
