Boston Blotter: Allston Abduction & Arson
-- Police charged three women with abducting a 24-year old man and leaving him to die in a burning apartment building early Sunday. Investigators discovered the man's plight when his brother, whom the women had allegedly attempted to extort, contacted police in Brighton. Farrah Girault, 29, of Roxbury, Cheerley Chevalier, 30, of Taunton and Jillian Jacques, 23, of Allston allegedly kidnapped the victim, bound him with a hair dryer, and beat him until he vomited blood. Things got worse when the women allegedly set fire to a 9-pack of toilet paper and a mattress and left the victim to die in Jacques's Allston apartment. The crime was described as drug-related. -- A man was arrested in Marblehead after allegedly breaking into a home security store. [WBZTV]
-- A 24-year-old Cambridge man brought his kid with him to Jamaica Plain to buy pot, police say. After the alleged drug sale, police tried to question the suspect, who shoved his child aside and led police on a foot chase up Bragdon Street. He was eventually nabbed and charged with a variety of charges, including possession of a firearm and resisting arrest. [BPDNews]
