Yet Another T Mess on the Red Line

At least it's a nice day out. Because you may as well not bother going into work if you commute by the red line. (Apologies to those of you who are already stuck on a train somewhere.)

Turns out that an electrical fire at Porter Square disrupted Red Line service. The fire is located at Porter. The MBTA says that trains are running again, but we all know that one T delay, no matter how small, knocks over all the dominoes of public transportation.

This is the second electrical fire on the Red Line. The earlier incident was at Park Street. It happened at the end of the day and involved an evacuation. It would appear that poor Charlie is getting old.

Is it just us, or is Charlie laughing at the MBTA commuters?

Yup!

Well-heeled Charlie is now a capitalist
Laughingly fleeing the commie blacklist -
He don’t use the Red no more
Thinks the Orange an eyesore;
No plans t’expand the Greens
Or let the Silver grow past its teens;
No, ole Charlie knows the score
He don’t take the T no more

Won’t stick around to rebut
The notion his man's a halibut
No, ole Charlie knows the score
He don’t use the T no more

All sing along now ...

lol! good song, mac.

half my office came in late today because of this... i briefly felt like a diligent worker! then i spent my morning commenting on blogs.
