Gawker Yawns at Boston Globe

Puck - nap guru

We don't know how we missed it (we must have been asleep) but thank god for Gawker. It seems the Globe recently ran an illustrated guide to napping including helpful tips like "have a light blanket handy," "darken the room," and even find a place "where you can lie down." Where has this napping resource been all our lives? We don't know why, exactly, but we usually do our napping slouched in a desk chair, under fluorescent lights, with our boss's voice droning at us from across the office. All this time, we should have been using ear plugs and a blanket. If only we'd known this sooner!

So, in a week of NBA playoffs and gay marriage, the Globe concentrates on napping exposes. What's next--how to sharpen pencils? And how will the Herald ever top this?
