Most Eligible Bachelor Bastard Strikes Again

Gary "Golden Showers" Zerola is at it again. This time, however, he was just being a drunk, not a(n accused) rapist. Apparently Zerola had to relieve himself in public at State and Congress (where the elite meet to pee in the street) last night, which caused police officers to confront him. Zerola, ever the gentleman, hit one of the officers in the shoulder and ran off. Apparently he's better at weaseling out of rape charges than escaping from the police, because the cops caught him and slapped on the cuffs. Zerola was one of many arrested in last night's post-Celtics revelry.

peoplebachelor.jpgZerola is scheduled to be arraigned this morning on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, disturbing the peace, and resisting arrest. We'll see if jurors convict him this time instead of letting him off like they did for several counts of rape on two occasions earlier this year. Zerola, a former prosecutor with the Suffolk District Attorney's office and People magazine Most Eligible Bachelor, can now add "public peer" to his already-impressive resume.
