Multimedia Tributes
-- In its prime, Sun City Girls could only be called bananas. Over the course of 25 years and more than 40 recordings, the band explored psych rock, world music, and the outer limits of cheesiness. Charles Gocher, the band's drummer and most batshit member, died last year. Alan and Richard Bishop, the remnants of the band, pay tribute to Gocher with film screenings and a live performance of the Sun City Girls back catalogue, with an emphasis on tunes Gocher wrote. Brattle Theatre, 40 Brattle St., Cambridge, 8:00pm. $15.
