That's actually a bus shelter at street level on Mass. Ave. The subway is across the street and downstairs.
That might be the only good picture of the Hynes bus stop ever taken. Typically it looks dirty and sketchy and is filled with guys that look like they want to kidnap you and put you in a giant hole in their basement and tell you that "it puts the lotion on" while putting applying lipstick in a mirror.
