Cops are stepping up patrols in known gang hotspots between 4:00pm and 4:00am. "We just need everyone to take a deep breath and realize that when you take out a gun and shoot it, a 7-year-old kid who’s out trying to enjoy the summer could be the unintended target," said Superintendant Daniel Linksey.
