I liked seeing the old-timers. I wondered about what Willie Mays was thinking when he got next to Manny. I wondered how fast a pitch Bob Gibson wanted to hit Manny with. Also, the sight of Wade Boggs with A-Rod was fitting somehow. I felt Steinbrenner looked good. His health was reported to be poor so I was surprised he looked as good as he did. Of course, Fox stunk again. For example, I wanted to see the handshake between Cliff Lee and Bob Feller during introductions. Oh, McCarver has gotten even dumber, too.

I almost understand why they latched on to Pap's statement. They're six game out of first place and desperate to have another reason to get their fans care about Yankee baseball. So add more fuel to the Red Sox/Yankee fire, which let's face it was all but out. It's a joke now.... But parading George out there was just sad. And how can you people forget the wonder which is Lucky Cheng's in NYC?

Be fair; I was there last week and I'd add Mondo Kim's and the many brunching options as reasons NY is still redeemable.
