Boston Blotter: Stabbing in Dorchester, 33 Drug Busts Across Hub

Operation%20Curtain%20call.JPG-- A man was found stabbed in the kitchen of a Dorchester home yesterday afternoon. The victim had been stabbed by his brother-in-law during a fight, police say. The 42-year-old suspect faces the charge of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. The victim remains at Boston Medical Center in critical condition. [BPDNews]

-- Boston police conducted a massive warrant sweep today, targeting suspects with outstanding drug warrants. The operation, dubbed "Curtain Call," resulted in 33 arrests of suspects whom police say are "impact players" in the city's gangs and drugs rackets. The operation was so important that it was granted its own logo (pictured). [BPDNews]

-- Chelsea officials have dealt with their own drug problem, revoking the licenses of three cab companies suspected of selling cocaine on their premises. [Herald]

-- A man was arrested for cocaine trafficking early this morning after Boston police pulled him over in the South End for speeding through a red light . The suspect, 27, of Roxbury, had allegedly scattered 13 vials of cocaine among more than 30 empty vials on the floor of his car. [BPDNews]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
