Boston Blotter: 2 Shot, 1 Killed in Roxbury
-- Two people were shot in a Roxbury apartment early this morning, according to police. One victim, a man in his thirties, died from multiple gunshot wounds at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The second victim, a teenager, suffered a superficial wound to his hand and has not cooperated with authorities, according to police. [BPDNews]
-- A Roslindale man was arraigned yesterday on charges that he shot a man to death in Fitchburg. Ryan J. O'Neil, 19, was held without bail in connection with the July 3 murder of Nelson Ortega, an incident police say was related to gangs and the drug trade. [Herald]
-- A shootout early Saturday night at Washington Ave. and Hillside Ave jolted Porter Square. The bullets flew after a pedestrian escaped a truck that had been following him down Hillside Ave. In reverse. Police have not announced with certainty who fired the shots, and no arrests have been made. [Cambridge Chronicle]
-- Cesar Villalobos, the Cambridge-based Peruvian pop star who was arrested this March for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl has been convicted of the crime. The musician, who fronts the band Inca Son, faces 2 1/2 years of prison time. [Cambridge Chronicle]
-- Frank Genevieve, 52, an Albany, NY priest, plead guilty to five charges of raping boys while on field trip in Boston. [Herald]
