Movies
-- Danger Diabolik (1968) is Italian horror master Mario Brava's rarely screened heist movie. The film, which stars John Phillip Law, Marisa Mell, and the ineffable Michel Piccoli was based on an Italian comic book. (In Italy, the thieves are the heroes.) Though the movie has the distinction of featuring in the final episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, it is absolutely not to be missed if you like violence and hipness. Screening with Barbarella (1968), which has a notable zero gravity strip scene. Through Monday. Brattle Theatre, 40 Brattle St., Cambridge. Tickets and showtimes.
Dyke Night
-- The Milky Way's informal Friday lesbian dance night has been formalized. Milky Way Lounge, 403 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, 9:00pm. $8.
