He's right to be skeptical of the LAA. They're the flavor of the month in MLB now and they've owned the Sox in 2008. The Sox are a mess now and they'd still be a playoff team if the season ended today. As we know, or knew prior to 2004, regular season goodness doesn't equal playoff goodness. LAA is suspect until they can win one playoff game against the Sox. They have great pitching that has mixed results in October. Teixeira with Hunter and Guerrero is formidable in any lineup. But, Vladi is the new A-Rod in October. Teixeira has 0 playoff at-bats.
